Faster, more flexible and robust at high spectral resolution – FX17

The new spectral camera FX17 from Specim boasts 640 pixels which enables analyses at high spatial resolution. The spectral resolution of 230 bands in the wavelength range 900 nm to 1700 nm also puts FX17 on top of spectral technology. The camera meets IP standard IP52, which confirms its robustness. There are mounting points on almost every side of the housing so the camera may be mounted horizontally, vertically or on the side. Frame rate is an important parameter with fast processes. FX17 reaches top scores with 670 frames per second. Where even higher rates are needed, the number of spectral bands can easily be reduced and the frame rate increased to approx. 15000 frames per second. The FX17 is available in two versions, either with Camera Link or GigE interface. It comes complete with software development kit for the perfect adaption to your application needs. Even though many applications are customer-specific, FX17 may well be controlled by the Specim standard scanner. We believe FX17 is a great step towards solving spectral resolution needs – a faster, budget-friendly hyperspectral camera with outstanding specifications to improve hyperspectral NIR imaging in both laboratory and on-line.
